I just replaced my passenger side doors on my crew cab and need to swap everything from the original power doors to these manual doors. When I used to work at ford they used to give us the rivets for the regulator and glass but I can not find any big enough local.
Does any one know the 2 sizes of rivets I need? I guess I could bolt them but do not know if clearances are an issue in the door
I have a big rivet gun air and manual and remember them being big and that's why know one local carries them I guess. I really wanted to get it done this weekend so I guess I will go the bolt route. I would guess maybe 1/4 x 1/2 and maybe 1 inch for the glass?
I used a rivet gun from Harbor Freight that included 1/4" diam by 1/2" long alum rivets. It worked great on securing the door lock actuators. I think the rivet gun was less than $20.

Yes, 1/2" long and use grade 8 and make them tight. Grade 5 will shear off
Also, I weld the nuts to the regulators since getting wrench in after the fact is a BIOTCH. Then the bolts just thread in
