Integrated Brake Controllers
Buddy of ours called about his new duramixedup's brake controller...
He was saying his will not lock up his brakes no matter what he does...
even the manual control just slows him down a bit...
he has his set on 10 and is worried about it...
When I first got ours I had it on 6.5 and worked well, but more and more I had to bump ours up to 10 as well...
I told him maybe both ours has bearing grease on the 5er brakes... etc...
Have any of you other 2011+ guys have this issue ?

My experience in both cases has indicated that a likely cause is the trailer brakes need adjusting.

I was having similar results with my integrated brake controller, then I read this gem. http://www.cvsa.org/programs/documen...2001-04-05.pdf
These integrated units do not work like the sloppy aftermarkets.
At idle even if you slide the manual slider all the way it still will not lock them, this is normal, you have to be moving at least 15 mph, and even then it will not allow them to lock up, but you should feel a slight jerk
