when you first meet a woman, she is attracted to you for a lot of reasons, you maybe a ladies man, that attracts women, you may be a sports jock, that attracts women, you maybe a rough and rowdy guy and that attracts women. however whatever attracted them to you in the begginning they will soon try to change. Some pull it off, some don't ie, divorce.

The funny thing about my little adage is the last person I told that to was my nephew, a little over a year ago at his bachelor party. When I told him his reply was, "Not Amy, she won't be like that". Every married, or unmarried, guy burst out laughing. His younger brother, who got married 5 years ago, and was divorced 3-1/2 years ago, came up to his brother and said, "Dude, when Uncle Bob told me this 5 years ago I just laughed it off but it was the most truthful advice anyone gave to me!"

The other saying that plays out to be true is, "A man marries a woman thinking she won't change, a woman marries a man hoping he will".
