Headlight Problem

I am not sure if this has been covered or not. I have a 2003 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L that I bought and noticed the headlights are not working.

The brights come on when I pull back on the signal lever. However when I push the lever forward the headlights do not stay on. In order to get home last night I wedged a dime in the lever space to keep the brights on so I had light while driving.

Brights work with lever pulled back.

Headlamps do not work on auto, or manually turning on. FOG lights do work correctly.

Reverse, Turn signals, Hazards, Break lights, and amber front signals all work as they should. The low beams do not work at all.

Any ideas? thanks guys you usually save my a$$ when i can't figure something out

Thanks so much and happy 4th

Marc

check your fuses first, then wiggle your relays, not sure if they are in the fusebox under the steering wheel or under the hood on the drivers side.
