Changing rear diff fluid on a 10.25

Hello I have an 89 F250 thats got a sterling 10.25 in the rear and I would like to change the gear oil. I have changed many Dana 60s, 44s, and 35s. It seems to be the sane deal here just pull off the cover to drain but I dont see a drain plug.

Also what weight gear oil should i put in it? It does not have a LS. Is 90 good?

Thanks

Pull the cover and clean it out best you can and then put it back on with some fresh RTV. Then remove the fill plug located on the pumpkin side above centerline and fill to the bottom of the hole with 80w90.

Are you talking about the bolt on the very top of the housing thats holding a bracket for the brake lines?

The fill plug is on the drivers/front, just below the webbing.
You need 3/8 drive to unscrew it.

It hold 3.75 quarts And I use 75w/140 oil
