Question on a code
The problem I thought I had on my 6.4 was something different, the scan tool showed P2463 which is soot accumulation in the DPF, it has the wrench and check engine light on and in reduced power mode, I've driven it around hoping it would regen but hasn't yet. Can the dealer force a regen? I hate to keep driving it but it has to regen sooner or later, when it does I'm guessing the light will go out?
Need that DPF off anyway, now might be a good time!!

Yes dealer can do manual regeneration using ids scan tool when they do manual it might fail first time but it will clean just enough to where truck will perform active regeneration which is better then manual then should be OK
