Low ICP when Hot

Not sure where to go with this problem anymore. The truck runs after starting wither its a cold start or hot start but will not always start when warm. I have recently replaced the IPR, Oil Cooler, FICM, and did an EGR delete. When the engine is cold it will fire right up and makes great power. ICP actual and ICP desired are within a couple psi of each other through all RPM ranges but when hot the ICP actual is only about 320 psi and slowly builds while cranking but never enough to start. I have run out of ideas and don't want to keep throwing any more money into it. There are no misses found in a contribution test when running warm and the truck doesn't have standpipes or dummy plugs. Any advice will be appreciated

Nipple cups, top injector orings and look at the branch tube fitting for any rubbing.

If it's the early 6.0 engine, the HPOP oil seal is failing.

I dont believe its the HPOP. The truck has excellent pressure when running and nearly identical desired and actual icp figures along with making great power. The only problem is the hot restart but once its running it runs great

Couldn't doing an air pressure test pinpoint the leak?

I am leaning away from a HPO leak because the ICP desired and actual match almost perfectly without the IPR duty cycle rising to high. is it possible that heat from the turbo/up-pipes can cause added resistance to the ICP circuit giving it a lower then normal reading?

What is the ICPV's at KOEO when it wont start? And what is the IPR% while idling and the engine up to temp?

Do you guys have ESP or some other cosmic thing going on??! I can "guess" that it's an '03 to early '04 cause no standpipes or dummy plug statement. But can we get more info, or is it your cosmic connection that you know the truck year/miles/etc....

Sorry -- I'm out of place here, but it's a holiday weekend so what the hey...

The truck is an 03 build. Has 214k miles on it. Just the way it starts and runs I find it hard to believe that its the pump or a leak. Has 175cc/stock nozzle warren diesel injectors in it with less than 10k miles on them and within the past month had the oil cooler, egr delete, and y-pipes done. I run the canned sct street tune on it and just put a 58v ficm on it

Just think of it this way. Any heat affecting the ICP (the way you described anyway) would do so from day 1 ...... and on everyone's truck. But if you want to test it, when it doesn't start hot, then unplug the ICP and see if it starts.

The no hot start developed really quickly within probably 50 miles from no problem at all to no start when hot. If I wait til about 150 degree ECT it will start but takes a bit of cranking but I have also seen it not start all the way down to 115 ECT temps

Do you have an OEM oil filter cap and filter element? +3 for it all pointing to the pump, but you might as well cover the easy bases. It would be helpful to know what the IPR duty cycle numbers are also.

The ICP cant easily be unplugged when the engine is hot due to it being under the turbo. And with sinister up-pipes(sorry if I forgot to mention that earlier) I dont have all the same heat shielding as a stock truck back in that area
