Give them a call and ask them what's going on. When mine was delayed, it was a Xmas backlog and some part supply shortages. They were very nice and explained it all so it did not bother me much. They should let you know if it will be a while then you could just move on if it is going to take too long.

We are so excited to become a stocking distributor for DC Power. Our first pallet of units will be in Monday, in fact!
This pallet will only contain the 185 amp units, but we'll be getting in 190HD's, 250HD's, and 270XP's here in a couple more weeks and then will be all but set!
To the original OP: we do have some 'sway' with DC Power.
If we can help you in any way to get your unit sent out sooner, drop us a note. Even you didn't buy from us, we'll still be happy to help you out (so won't hold it against you that you didn't buy from us, though are still in therapy over it. 
).
Just keep us in mind for any other of your 6.0 needs in the future! If Ford carries it, so do we. Ditto for the aftermarket.

I ordered one (185a) directly from them on 7/1 and it was listed on their site as "in stock" - called them on 7/8 and they said that it should ship by the end of the week (last week), and should be here sometime the next week (that's this week).
I just checked my order and it still says "order processing" - I'm going to call them today and if it hasn't already shipped, I'll cancel the order and order from you guys.
If its "in stock", it should ship within a day or 2 tops. No reason to be waiting more than 2 weeks for an "in stock" item....I guess on the plus side, now I'll have a spare alternator since I had to get a re-man from advance auto to get me through till it gets here.
