odometer memory not in cluster?
i recently bought a harley cluster for my rig cause i like the chrome trim on the bezels
i was under the impression that the odo mileage was stored in the cluster so i would need a reprogram, but i have to say it sure looked like the new odo read the same miles as the original
i am thinking the odo memory in probably in the PCM or the new cluster just happened to have same mileage as my original
anyway i ended up just using the cluster face on my old cluster as the new new one had many lights not working
can anyone confirm my thinking that vehicle miles are stored in the PCM, not the cluster on 06 SD
