Question about glowplugs

I looked around and didnt seem to find the answer to my question. Or im dumb and over loooked it.

I have a new set of 6.9l plugs with spade connectors and was wondering if they will work in my 7.3l. Or would i need the 6.9 l wiring harness and controller.?

7.3 is bullet connector, also, i believe the 6.9 is 6v glowplugs or something. Others know more than i do on the subject. I gave up on the glowplug battle and bought an ether injector.

Im aware the connectors are different. That was actually one reason i was considering using them. I was more concerned about voltage differences etc.

The spade terminal ones run at ~12V. The round terminal ones run at ~6V, due to the large resistor on the controller. If you swap either, the automatic controller won't work at all, but you could use a manual pushbutton if you need(though be careful not to overheat them, either way).
