Fuel guage issue
I looked around some and didn't see anything on this. I need direction on fixing my fuel gauge. Saturday I left the house and it read FULL. 5 minutes later it reads 3/4. I drove about 250 miles and when I returned home its reading FULL again? Not knowing how much fuel I have I went and topped off the tank and pumped about 17 gal in it. The next morning I hop in it and take off - not taking note of what the gauge is reading - and after a few miles I hear the low fuel chime and look down and the gauge is below EMPTY? It has not moved since then. What should I be looking for here? A bad wire to the tank? Is there some other electronics module that might control this?
