89 zf5 in 01 v10 super duty

I found an 89 zf5 with everything i need to do a 5 speed swap, and a transfer case all for $250. My question is will this transmission work in my 2001 F-250 with the triton v10?

You are correct. Bell housings are different and will not match up.

Maybe there is an aftermarket one out there but the manual transmissions in the super duty's is not removable. Not sure of the 150's or maybe a Mustang. Good luck, keep us updated on what you find.

Ok, so from what i understand all modular motors have the same bellhousing pattern, so could i run a 5 speed out of an f150? or is it not strong enough?

The v10 trans is beefier than the 5.4 trans. I would try to find a wrecked v10 truck with a 5 or 6 speed.
