I have a 2000 F250 Super Duty with a V10. The engine now uses oil (quart 3000 miles) can anyone recommed a good engine or machine shop? Has anyone had any luck swapping out the 2000s for 3V V10? If so how hard are the 3V V10's to come by and what problems do you run into putting them in a 2000 F250 Super Duty?

Racole, the place is Holland Automotive Machine. The owner is a ford guy, has a 428cj in a mustang that he rebuilt himself. I've never seen him do a V10, but I have seen him do several 4.6s and 5.4 V8s. The V10 is the same as the 5.4, just with a couple of extra cylinders, isn't it ? You'll want to talk to Dan ( the owner ) or Michelle ( mrs owner ). Ask if you need a complete rebuild or maybe just a valve job. DF, @ his Dad's house
