The 205/100 our stock new injectors. And FFD has them or should I say will order them for you. I believe they were for the high torq. trucks IH made and can be tuned for what you want. They are single shot injectors, so tuning is a must.
I know Matt is a fan of the 238/80 combination. It's really a decision you must make looking at long range goals. Is it a specific number you want to hit, somewhere in the neighborhood or just an idea?
I say you need to make the decision because if you don't and get something that somebody recommended and don't see the numbers you want, you kind of left it out there.
I went with 238/100's. With the supporting mods I put down 481 last year at RRE. I'm pretty sure I'm breaking the 500 barrier this year. (I hope) I daily drive, towing anything from 18'-26' boats and a 28' travel trailer. Drives like a dream and has all the power I want. I did a lot of research but ultimately had to make the decision myself. I have no regrets of the path I took. (Except who I got the injectors from the first time) but it's fun to drive and reliable as anything.
I know its probably not a whole lot of advice but I just wanted to chime in and say don't rule out some hybrids it really is a viable option.
