That motor always had a carb it's a 78 - 460. The truck came with a 351w that I sold for the big block

But yes I have been very happy with the carb .. Injection is the way to go.if u have a good amount of money to do it rite

I'd thought about doing something similar in my truck. I'm just not sure if I want to give up the efi.

If it's tuned rite it's runs just fine . But again I don't drive the truck every day so it's hard for me to say

I can walk to work and only really need the truck for hunting and fishing or having fun.

Not really cuz I don't drive it in the winter.and in the summer just drive it faster and your all good .
