Clear Tail Lights

I have been looking for months for clear tail lights for a 1996 Ford F150.

All that I can find is clear lights with red accents. I am looking for all clear where the just the bulbs will be changed to red.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Complete performance in Jasper Texas I believe has them. Go to there website and ask Chris or Paul.
I ordered a set of clear cab lights from them a couple weeks ago they are cool guys and will take care of you.

I wouldn't mind finding a set either but I don't want that to happen.

What your looking for is going to be hard to find. Nhtsa requirements require reflective material be used in tail/ brake light housings. If some one manufactures these without dot or nhtsa approval 1 it's a citable offense and two if an accident were to occur the company would be sued into bk court let alone the feds coming after them. I'm not saying they are not available but good luck.

All they have to do is put, For offroad use only on the labeling.

Crewcabber 06-24-2014 09:26 PM

Good luck with that. I lighting device is a lighting device on the road or off the road.

I didn't know due to all the aftermarket driving lights and light bars you can buy that aren't street legal.

The off road lights and light bars are all additional lighting. All offroad lights and light bars come with covers it's not just to protect the lights but to keep you from turning them on while driving down the road. If a cop state patrol etc. Was having a bad day he could pull you over and write you up. Here in cali. We have two different types of highway patrol we have the cruisers and then we have the commercial guys that drive 1 ton trucks with shells looking to really screw up people's mostly truckers day. If they get a hold of you and mouth off they will have a field day. The worst part about it if you piss them off two bad they will write you a ticket for unsafe or unlawful to operate on public roadway and give you a cite. The cite states unlawful unsafe and must be remedied and taken to an official inspection station to return to operation on public road ways. Driving around in high school in an 86 excab Mazda b2000 layed on the floor and pissing off chp will getcha one of those.

Nope. My truck is actually my first vehicle I've ever run with a catalytic converter. As long as you're sober, they won't bother you here.
