Clear tail lights
Has anybody put clear tail lights on their truck? Do you have any pics?
I put some clear parking lights on mine and I really like it a lot better than the orange ones. I'm just wondering how it looks in the back.

the clear front lights look good because they were OEM but clear taillights are not DOT approved and you face a hefty fine. unless of course you find red bulbs to install in them.

Make sure they also have a red reflector in them as well. They need to reflect Red when your lights are off, and somebody elses lights hit them.
The marker lights on the sides, also have to be amber in the front, and Red in the back, and reflect accordingly as well. I've seen clear aftermarket ones of these too.
Make sure also, that the person that sells them knows what he's talking about on application. 1973 to 74 1/2 and 1974 1/2 to 1979 taillights are not interchangeable. Or very easily anyway.
