My bad

Here in Ne it's gettin to be pretty hot and for future reference, I realize this is my fault. Anyway I got two 200watt 10 inch subs bridged togeter on a 100watt amp and if that isn't bad enough I also have a 300watt capacity speaker box with two 6 1/2's and to tweeters bridged in to and now my amp cuts out for about 3 min. at a time before it comes back on or until you get going down the road with the windows down for a while (no air-conditioning.) Big surprise hugh, I know I've overloaded and overheated this amp, but the system sounds great with my Jenson CD player when the amp works. The amp came from a closeout sale and has no internal fan (usally 100's don't) Know of anywhere to pick up about a cheap 3 or 400 watt amp.

try wal mart. they sell a 1000 watt amp for 169 or a pionier 760 watt for the same price. they also have good speakers for cheap cuase they all are factory reconditioned.

I guess I've never really looked at amps at Wal-Mart, so I'll have to look, otherwise I got great speakers and those 6 1/2's behind the seat came from Wal-Mart for 20 bucks. Work pretty good.

Man the guys at these sites are going to love me, but the cheapest place I have found anything Audio related is www.cmttrading.com . I have used them and I am really pleased with the service and the bargains can't be beat by anyone. I have no affiliation with them but would recommend to a friend, so here I am. Give 'em a shot.

Well david brady, I checked out the site you told me about and they were all pretty cheap, but the problem was I didn't see your reply until I went to Wal-Mart and bought a 4 channel 400watt for 70 some bucks, still a pretty good deal. I got it installed today and it's workin really good only I need another Y cable, I only had one. Anyway I had to take out the seat b/c this one was a lot bigger, my out one was just mounted on the back wall.
