I've got to replace my injectors... Took my truck to ford after running all the tests I could to on my own, I wanted to verify what exactly was wrong before I bought them... All but 2 failed over the course of the last few months it got to the point where they completely failed.. The dealership confirmed my findings.
Thoughts, options, and input would be greatly appreciated I will be purchasing these in the next 3 weeks so please debate! ( I want to stay less than 3k for a set )

Personally I would go with OEM remanufactured due to the fact they have all of the updated engineering data and they replace all moving parts with new parts and all tolerances are correct when they are done. but before you go installing new injectors have your dynamic (meaning with engine under load at wide open throttle ) fuel pressure tested just to be certain as low fuel pressure is the leading cause of injector failure, anything less than 45 PSI on the fuel pressure needs to be addressed. The boys at the ford shop have a tool to simulate a WOT run to check the fuel pressure or you can install your own stand alone gauge to monitor the fuel pressure on a continuous basis ( recommended ).
You can get OEM remans for 220 each at autonation ford white bear lake .
Full Force Diesel is the best you can get as far as i know. Expensive, but they are quality and riffraff doesn't sell anything but the best. I would love to put some full force injectors in my truck someday. Should be fine to run 155s with stock turbo and stock fuel since you have the blue spring mod. Just get a tune to match the injectors and watch your fuel pressure
OEM is the only way to go, I've tried others and tested them with a Hickok G2 tester, aftermarket is absolute junk. I now only use OEM, my dealer will sell them to me for $198 ea. I've probably bought 15 sets this year already, over the last few years I've bought plenty and NONE of the Motorcraft have ever gave me a problem and as far as I know none of the Motorcraft have failed either, where aftermarkets don't last long, some where no-good right out of the box.

There have been a few failed Motorcraft injectors, but certainly not like the eBay specials...
Having Quite a few mods to the truck I think the next logical upgrade would be the injectors simply because I was planning to upgrade them anyway and as mentioned Riff Raff is awesome and I have nothing but great things to say about them, and the next upgrade is a turbo and fuel system..
This was something that I wasnt planning on however now that I have to replace the injectors my plans will be moving forward just faster then I wanted them to..
Anyone know where I can get a custom tune for my SCT livewire ?
I think I'll weigh in here as a person that had Casserly's injectors (Full Force Diesel), in my truck and oddly enough had the 155s as well. Now, I've dealt directly with Casserly as he is only 25-30 min away from me.
I would do it again in the heart beat for the 6.0. The feeling that I had with the response, is a lot like what I get on this new truck stock. For towing, the combination of those injectors plus a 64mm non-vgt turbo helped out a lot and I would regularly tow ~16k of horseflesh and related equipment. I had those in there 7 out of the 9 yrs I had the truck. Not a lick of issue with the injectors. You will need to get a custom tune as well.
I would suggest a Regulated Return kit to do away with the dead heading that is on our trucks rather you have stock or a/m injectors (a fuel cross over doesn't do it in of itself, better then nothing and cheaper then a RR kit, but doesn't solve the problem). I would also suggest a FASS or AirDog fuel pump that replaces the original. Plus a fuel gauge to monitor everything. Bare in mind 2 out of the 3 things in this paragraph (RR Kit, fuel gauge), I would suggest regardless if you go OEM or a/m, but if you are starting to do a/m injectors, I would go ahead and do this at the very least.
Please use any brand besides air dog or fass. Using a 6.4 fuel pump as a pusher pump or dual 6.0 pumps is a great, quiet, reliable setup
7 yrs of successful setup between a FASS and an RR kit, so I have to ask why unless something has happened with their quality (which is very likely since it has been that long since I've looked at them)?
I don't know anyone who has had good luck with airdog or fass, it's simply not worth my time to use a cheap fuel system for the most important part of the truck. Not to mention how obnoxiously loud the fass pumps are.
