Speedometer Gear Part # Needed.

1979 f250 4x4 4 spd with np205 transfer case. I need the part # for the speedo gear mounted on the shaft. Not talking about the driven gear. Ford dealership says they are a discontinued item. Anyone have a source? Dennis carpenter doesn't seem to carry them either.

how about this? If not, try this and scroll down to the "speedometer gear" section, or if all else fails, I tried this.

There are 7 and 9 tooth versions. Waiting for an actual part #.

No thanks for the sarcasm. Your first link only shows thru 77. Just looking for confirmation before I order the gear. If it ends up being the wrong one, my daily driver is down until I can get the right one. I've searched and found 2 possible gears.
