'01 Expedition fuse box problem.
Hey guys, I just recently purchased an '01 Expedition and I'm having some issues with the electrical. First of all, the cd changer in the center console does not have any power along with the rear stereo controls. Also, the only speaker that is working is the front passenger side. I checked the fuses under the dash and they are all good, with that being said, fuses 17 through 21 & 26 through 29 do not have any power even with the vehicle running. I also checked all the fuses under the hood and they too were all good!!! Has anyone had this problem with the fuse box? It seems like with all those fuses not having power, more things would be wrong with it.

The windshields on these trucks are know to leak when wet and drip water directly down into the GEM and the fuse box. The internals of the fuse box are likely corroded.

And you still have a bad fusebox, regardless of the root cause. The leaking windshield theory is the one most commonly proven to be the case.
Those fuses are only hot when their respective functions are turned on. Otherwise, they won't have power.
