Front end swap

Ok, I have always had a PowerStroke and this is my first IDI. I just purchased a 1988 F350 cab and chassis truck. The front end on this thing is butt ugly. I know you can swap to the older front end but do I need an entire clip or is the core support the same? The reason I ask is because I am thinking about buying all the body panels new from LMC. Just need to know what all I need and what can be reused. Thanks for the help.

That's too bad, I've always liked the '88-'91s, it is a nice combo of old and new. Never been able to land one though, I've had/have '84,85,86, and '92.

Someday though.

The core supports are different. You will need the 83-86 core support for the older sheet metal. There are also two different core supports, one for the narrow tall style radiator (with AC I believe) and one for the wide short radiator style (non AC?). Be sure to get the support that fits your radiator.
