Radiator Core Support Swap

My 1976 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT currently has what is left of it's core radiator support. I have sourced one out locally as an OEM replacement, but it states that it is made for a model with AC. My truck does not have AC. Will this end up being a problem doing the swap? Do radiator opening sizes make a difference as well? Thanks!

I think that the only difference in the a/c versus none a/c would be the provisions (2 1/2" hole) on the dvrs side about in line with the headlight for the a/c lines to pass thru the core support to the front a/c equip....

What radiator do you have? Super cooling or extra cooling?

There are only two radiator supports (not counting round vs square headlights), difference is the size of the radiator opening. I went out and measured mine (A/C w super cooling) and it's about 27 1/2" wide w/ about 28 1/2" between the mounting holes.
The smaller support had two sets of mounting holes IIRC it's 23" and 25" between holes

Mine seems to measure approximately 24 1/2". Maybe I'm measuring incorrectly, as I've only seen 23" and 28" sizes mentioned.

That seems right. You won"t care about the extra couple holes for the ac lines but you will need to make sure the radiator will fit.
