I'm going to change the gears eventually. Sorry I haven't been on work has been kicking my butt. Here's what has happened since= Pulled the heads and found out the engine is .060 over, has under 10k on it. Went with comp cam 332-063. Also went with Hooker 6903 headers, Edelbrock timing chain set, new valve springs, lifters. Already have the performer intake and a new 750 carb. Is this still too much carb with this new info? Engine will be dyno tuned when installed back in the truck.

Edelbrock Performer 750. Wanted to install, tune and be done for the most part. Also just ordered Mallory Distributor 4255311. Figured this would be more reliable than points and got rid of the worn stock dizzy. I plan on making this as reliable as I can get it

I've had newer trucks before, I figured I have this one and for what the exact same model and options would cost new I can fully restore this truck a few times over and have a cooler truck. It has factory ac and it's a supercab so I won't miss out on comfort
