Installing a remote start on 2003 Navigator. I have everything working except the door trigger and dome supervision.
Searchs tell me that it is Black/(Light)Blue under the driver's kick panel. There are 5 of them with varying guage, and none of them fluctuates when all door is closed.
Sorry if I was unclear. I am looking to connect the following:
1. H2/12 VIOLET (+) DOOR TRIGGER INPUT (N/C* OR N/O)
2. H2/7 BLACK/YELLOW (-) DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION OUTPUT
Look close with a light, sometimes a dark blue, brown, or purple can look like black in dim lighting. You can probe each of the BK/LB wires you find for 12 volts. It will be 12 volts when a door is open and zero when they're all closed and the interior lights are off.

Thank you, alloro. I had two lights...they are positively black/blue. I was hoping to see if anyone could shed a light(!).
It probably looks bigger on your screen than it will in real life. It's likely only something like 4"x2" or so. But apparently that's the one down in the driver's kick panel that you're looking for.
It works......somewhat. You are correct that it is the wire, however, it is not working as I want to.
This wire is hot (+12v) when the dome lights are on. On my navigator, the light doesn't go off immediately when the doors are closed. Therefore...the alarm says "door open".
I want it to turn the lights on when UNLOCK is pressed. (Which would be H2/7 BLACK/YELLOW (-) 200mA DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION OUTPUT?)
I can see why the references are showing USE DOME LIGHT for door triggers, but not quite so. I really wish there is a wire (preferably (-)) that triggers the dome lights to turn on (and off too like factory fob...but I'll be happy with just on)

Oh...okay. In that case tap into the 'orange/light green' wire (pin 2) coming off the black connector on the main light switch. Applying negative to that wire will have the same effect as if you turned the dimmer to ON for the interior lights. See the attached PDFs for the diagram and connector.
Thank you alloro once again. The cable does seem to be powering up the interior lights when connected to the ground, however, I don't think 200mA is sufficient.
Is there a wire that feeds to the factory switch? (like when factory fob unlock is pressed) I'd really like to avoid using a relay if an alternative is possible.
According to the wiring diagram I posted, that wire controls the ground side of the interior lighting relay. That's about as simple as it's going to get. You could connect a millamp-meter from that wire to ground to see how much power is actually being drawn. If it's less than 200ma then you're all set, if it's more than you'll need the extra relay.
