Has any one bought a car off a private party thinking it had the advertised miles & found out latter the vehicle had many more miles than advertised?

How did you resolve the problem?

 

If there is a clear case of odometer tampering and the seller falsifying the title disclosure I believe the Ohio State Highway Patrol gets involved. I'd contact their general info office and they'll direct you to the right person or department.

You'll need to have your proof of tampering ready to share.

 

BUT PROVING IT? Is the question & who did it? How will it help you unless it was a dealer & even then they claim & employee did it unknown to them.
