After an hour of frustration i am in need of some help! The truck is a 97 F250 7.3 automatic, every light works but the reverse lights. I have checked the fuse which was fine, bulbs are new, and also replaced the Neutral Safety switch. Put the multimeter on the sockets and neither side is getting power. The only ground i could see has 2 larger (8-10 gauge) white and yellow wires going to it (guess its for the trailer wiring?) located underneath the bed about 8 inches from the bumper, cleaned that off and still nothing. Other then ripping all the wiring loom off and checking the wires i am stuck... Any suggestions or input is greatly appreciated!
Your neutral safety switch does not control the backup lights. There is a separate switch for that. If I were a tad younger, I could probably remember where it is

I thought the back up light switch was part of the neutral safety switch on the E4OD? Maybe your thinking of the one for the ZF5? All the parts i pull up say for manual trans.

The Neutral Safety Switch is actually the Manual Lever Position Sensor and it does control the reverse light function.
I also tried moving the lever around to see if they would come on and still nothing. I thought about jumping the connector to see if they would come on but sense the switch is new there would be no purpose?
