Fuel Injector Question
Anyhow, I had a question I hope to get some input on.
I am replacing the intake manifold on a 2004 Eddie Bauer 5.4 Expy, I have the new one installed and ready to proceed with the rest of the reassembly.
I installed new plugs and COPs and I am about to install the fuel rail/injectors and was wondering if it is better to replace them in a case like this?
The truck has 220,000 miles on it and they very well could be the original injectors.
I found a Bosch set on Ebay for $150-ish so just wondering if it is advisable to do so as preventative maint.
Thanks for any responses and for your time.

How did the install come out?
I removed mine, soaked them in berryman chemtool for a couple hours. Then I made some wire leads that i attached to the inectors 1 at a time. I refilled the injectors then connected the wire leads to a 12v battery and let them squirt it out. I then reloaded and repeated while pushing compressed air through them while powering the injectors. Finally I wire brushed the bottoms of the injectors to be sure the tiny holes were clean, then installed new o-rings top & bottom. Haven't finished putting it all back together yet but expect them to work like new.
