Gotta do my obligatory intro before I get flamed elsewhere in the forum. Been a Ford owner for many years now. Previously owned 97, 01, and 12 F-150s, a 03 Lightning and now a 14 F-250 diesel. See ya on the forum.
Necessary obligation. You'll get a lot out of this site as there is plenty of useful information. Are you towing or hauling often with your F-250?

The 250 is for towing our new travel trailer. But it will most likely end up being more of a commuter vehicle but we hope to get out "camping" as much as possible. This diesel thing is a learning curve for me as far as all the emissions stuff and keeping it running smoothly. I hope there won't be many issues. I would think there would be more issues with the trailer than the truck.

That's awesome - Travel trailers are a lot of fun! I'm not sure what your current set up is, but if you experience any rough handling when towing the trailer you might take a look at Torklift's StableLoad suspension upgrade. It's an affordable alternative to airbags and will dramatically reduce any side-to-side sway or body roll. Get out and enjoy that trailer!
