Been reading on here for a while. Just sold my F-350 6.0 diesel... and ordered my new 2014 F-150 XLT Ecoboost with the Max tow package. I'm truckless for 6 weeks, and already going through withdrawal!!!!!

Right now I have a 24' KZ Sportsman camper (3500 lbs), and a 4 wheeler trailer, and will be selling my 5th wheel now that the diesel is gone and looking at a new travel trailer for next year, probably in the 7-8k pound range around 29-32 feet.

 

Wow - that’s awesome! Since you have some time before you get the trailer you might take a look at Torklift’s StableLoad suspension upgrade. It’s an affordable alternative to airbags and will help level the truck and drastically improve handling while towing heavier loads. The SuperHitch Towing Series line might be useful for you, too (highest rated hitches in the industry).
