I agree the 12k globes are no good it's the housing I'm interested in , these look to be the closest to what i have now but projector style.

How do you find those lights of your Adrian? , is they some adjustment for where the beam shines, what i mean is can they be adjusted for RHD trucks.

Because its American it should not have have the ECE \__ beam pattern. They should have the ___ DOT pattern, with the passengers slightly up compared to the drivers. So at least in getting mine re-aimed for RHD, there was almost nothing to do.

They should have adjusters on the headlights for adjusting the angle.

Here is the difference:

My low beams are much better than standard, but the highbeams (I only have a standard H1 bulb fitted) aren't great, better than stock, but still I think a Falcon probably has stronger lights. Some members here have wired the low beam to work in conjunction with the high beam (not instead) on these housings which would help a lot, but I'm just going to get a light bar to fix that problem.

i see the difference now , but with the True projector style light there should be a better chance of adjusting from LHD to RHD do you think?

I agree with Adrian - personally my preference is 4300K HID as the light colour is only slightly more white that halogen.

Also note that the Taiwanese unit I posted already included RHD projector units with $380 cost being the shipped to Australia price.

While it is good to see more options for projector light upgrades for 1999-2005 trucks on the market generally, there's not too many that give the RHD low beam cutoff option.

Have a close look at these they look like they have adjustment on the back of the housing , don't take any notice of the globes .

Blue, I think the Syder Auto are a good light - the adjusters allow seperate aiming for the low beam and for the high beams. The housing itself has the top adjusters to aim the entire housing. However, you are still going to potentially need to open the unit and replace the LHD projector to a RHD projector - unless as Adrian points out, the projector is DOT standard - i.e. with a relatively straight line cut off.

By the time you get them shipped here the cost will be about the same as the Taiwanese units - which are RHD specific - I notice however the Taiwanese units have the housing adjuster and only the adjuster on the high beam reflector. I gather you aim the lowbeam by adjusting the housing, then aim the high beam by adjusting the HB reflector.

Simon, those lights that you post about from Taiwan there where for 05-07 trucks correct?
Do you think they will fit in the 03 model truck?
Have you got the link to them?
If they'll fit i think i will get a set and be the guinea pig.

There's not much i can do with the housings i have and the HiD's , i give it a go but the housings are the controlling factor in the placement of the light pattern .
