That's the name I came up with for my truck since it's brown and white. Bull.
Anyway, it seems like I'm doing a lot of pulling lately. A couple days ago I was driving down the road only to find a pickup sitting dead in the road. I figured I'd stop and see what was going on since I didn't have anything else to do.
The guy said he had run out of gas. "Well, I could pull you to the gas station up the road." I said. It was easy enough. Just backed up and hooked on and we were off.
So now today, I'm rolling home on the freeway. I see a tow truck on the side with my buddies car on the back. Tow truck has his hood up. I make a loop and come back, (only cuz it was my friends car) I pull up along side and ask what's wrong. The fuel pump on the tow truck died, so it ain't going nowhere. He asks me if I can pull him off the freeway. ( now this is a 10,000lb truck with a 3,000lb car on the back of it) I say yes. I whip around in front and hook up the chain. I get back in the truck and pull the shifter down into 1. Ease into it and it slowly starts to move. I'm rolling into the throttle now, pulling pretty hard with the gears I have, but I'm gaining speed. I get to about 20 mph and push it into 2nd gear. Up to 30 and merge into the lane. I pull him like that for about a half mile and then get off. Now were on city streets. I pull him another 2-1/2 miles back to his shop. Stopping and going at a couple intersections. Each time having to pull hard to get moving again. But I did it!
A 1/2 ton Bump....pulling a TOW TRUCK... loaded. Now THAT is a classic. Thanks for the mental picture 351!! LOL!!! Please tell me that tow truck had a Ram in the grille. I wonder how many heads turned in disbelief as you drove down the streets. Ha-Ha!
