Man i was glad o see a real truck in my diveway!
I pull this same trailor and the gvw in my truck is 16580. whoever says a cummins pulls better hasnt driven a 6.0.First off this megacab didnt have mega brakes, i had to slow down 200 yrds b4 i had to stop, secondly the tow/haul and transmission sucks, it was searching pretty much the whole time and sounded like it was going to fall out.The tow haul didnt even help to slow the truck down.LAstly anything above 2200 this goat wouldnt do anything, i floored it at 65 and it took 20 seconds to get to 70 HONESTLY!didnt even kick down.He then asked me what i had different on my truck than on his,i told him everything i could think about for the whole 300 mile tip My 2 cents on towing
Glad to see you love your truck. I love mine every time I hook on to.....well actually anything, cause I know not only will it pull it, but it will stop it too.
I can't wait to get mine hooked up.I talked to Matt today and were gonna do a SCT tuner. The thought of having the most powerfull best looking truck on the road makes me proud.
Id like to get the sct also i just keep forgeting to call matt, i think of it everyday but just dont do it! WHATS MY PROBLEM!!!lol
i was thinking about doin a fummins swap when my dearly love 6.0 passes on but there is noway im gonna give up my top end for little if any low end!
The tow/haul in the FORD is superior to all others hands down! I use it all of the time, since I haul quite a bit. My husband has a 2005 Dodge 2500, and the tow/haul doesn't compare, but I have towed with it and you don't know the trailer is behind you, but the truck even though almost 75% of the time it is towing it usually doesn't tow over 7,000 lbs either. Because he has a dodge and I have a ford, I get to compare vehicles, but we rarely ever switch. He drives his and I don't let him drive mine often, (Ha,Ha)
Does anyone else find a woman driving a super duty rather Sexy? I'm tellin you.. Ever since I bought my truck, every woman I talk to makes the remark "I could never drive something that big".. (Sigh)
What happen to today's women LOL!
Back on topic.. I had a 93 Cummins back in college that could pull like crazy.. Back then I was able to pull with the 7.3s.. Course that was before they made all the changes to the Cummins... IMO 93 block was by far the best block.. But now I got my 6L and I'm in love..
Yah know what they say, I'd rather be Strokin' then Cummin' (then the party's over!)

Good one!
Just got an 05 F350 Lariat Crew s/b 4X4 with 57,500 miles/92,00kms.
Love it already, I pulled a 10,500 lb load and it was totally awesome in pulling and handling.
