front axel spindal questions

Sorry if this is else where, I tried searching. Question is what years were the 1/2 ton spindals the same 41 thru 49 some say, then 40 thru 48. confused. I want to disc upgrade. Have looked at several kits. Speedway is the least expensive, but theirs are for 48, and up. My Panel truck is a 1/2 ton 1947.

I have a 1951 shoebox 4 door complete parts car that is engine donor, I may go measure its spindles, and or total axle assembly...

LOL, didn't really think about that, the Car has A frames...no swapping there... DOH!!
