1941 cat-killer question...

Ok, just curiosity really, but what was the reason for the two different noses on the '41 trucks? Was one the PU nose and the other the "Big" truck nose?

It was just style. The car style nose was used on the 1/2 ton truck while the nose with the headlights mounted in the pods on the fender was used on 3/4 ton and bigger. Remember, in '41 the 1/2 ton truck was still largely car based, similar frames, suspension, etc. The 3/4 ton and bigger were not related as much to the passenger car.
