I can pull the ipr without pulling the turbo with the proper socket correct?

Correct. Just move the degas bottle, intake and ficm and you should be able get the ipr socket with a swivel in there.

i know this is an old thread but i am curious to what he found when he pulled ipr? i recently had cold no start and replaced hpop, icp & ipr then had hot no start replaced d-plugs and stand pipes and still have hot no start and showing same #'s he posted..

Tore it down to the FICM and stopped. The center connection is pretty much destroyed (prior to my involvement) the main back portion is gone and since the truck runs I told him I wont go any further as I dont want to get into replacing the connector myself. Since I have had the truck with me I have not been able to duplicate to no start hot. I have made long runs amd short runs. I did the restarts with eot at 193, 190, 187, 180, 175. All started with all numbers still good. I have a pic of the bad connector but cant post from my phone.
