Thanks fordpride I should have known this wasn't going to be easy, or cheap. I'll pull the injectors and check O-rings in the morning. Should I recheck my pressure after that?
Thanks again fordpride, I ordered the O-rings from Riffraff and will do as instructed. Thank you all again. I'll update when I get Parts and finish the install.
Ok after another hiatus I've got the new O-rings installed on all the injectors and cleaned 'em up. While cranking my ICP pressure goes up to 203 psi then after a bit longer it jumps up to 2750psi but still no start. I'm thinkin HPOP. If I put new O-ring kit in it will that possibly fix it or do I need to buy a new one?
How did the orings look?
Its better so I would think they looked terrible.
You will crank it for what seems like alifetime when doing them.i ran the batteries dead 3or4 times before it tried.I'm thinking b patient.you may be onto something.it will prob keep improving until it fired.keep monitoring for the increase.
Actually they didn't look all that bad and it seems weird that it will build to 203 psi stay there a while and then jump to 2750psi which is full throttle pressure w/ truck running if I'm recalling my information right.
275 and it runs? How are you measuring that? ICP have oil in the connector? Ever have IPR out to check orings?
Unplug ICP and attempt to run? Any better...?
Drivers head at the front.3wire sensor.unplug it.also look in where the wire plugs in.if it has oil in there then its deff on its way out.if it starts better when u unlpug then it may be giving a bad signal
Have you confirmed that those Xgauge codes are correct by using them on a running OBS truck? I've tried the "Ford 7.3 diesel" Xgauges listed on SG's web site, and they don't make a distinction between OBS and SD, and I'm pretty sure those codes are only for the SDs. They specifically list the OBS PSD as not a compatible vehicle. 'Course, that was some months ago; perhaps someone has since come up with XGauge codes specific to the OBS.
