Oil Drain
I can't get this thing off. Truck had a sticker on it from the last oil change which is a local shop. I swear they used an impact on it--idiots. Gonna have to get a new plug because this one is going to be destroyed I imagine.

Got it off--fumoto will be going on. But I have another dilemma
this thing has that pos wix filter AND cap. I looked a pics for hours when looking this truck over but when I took the filter out--the base of it didn't look right--spun the cap around and in little letters it's marked wix. Mark one miss for me. Question--if I can't get a motorcraft cap today--would it be safe to put the old filter back in to drive 15 miles to my ford dealer on Monday?

I personally wouldn't but then I'm ****. Just about every place, Walmart, AutoZone, O'Reillys and more have the filters. The cap may be a diff. story.

Yeah--already have the ford fulter (as I should) but I sure as heck wont put that filter in that that wix cap. I guess when I called the wix a pos as it has worked for 5k miles--just makes me mad I missed it upfront.

Oreilys or autozone may have an OEM cap.
