Another hot day on the river. Headed to our place in the mountains for a few days, to cool off a little.
Anyone watching the USA & Portugal in the World Cup? Portugal is up 1-0 at the beginning of the second half.
I would rather watch International Football than the NFL.

Morning everyone. I hope you are all having a great week so far.
Sure has been quiet around here lately. I have been busy. Our Daughter Delana is visiting for 3 weeks. It is great to have her around again even if it is just for a bit.

Happy Thursday!
What a week this has been. Busy, busy with Athena (only day off was yesterday) & she's been a holy terror! Guess it's all part of the Terrible 2's. LOL! next is the Treturous 3's. Not looking forward to that either. Atleast I can spoil her, load her up on sugar & send her home to mom & dad.
On top of that, Cammy & Nathan are prob. getting a divorce, we have a guest for the summer until school starts in Washington & Jimmy & Karl almost got into a fist fight last night. So, my week's been perfect...NOT!
I hope your week has been better than mine.
Well, I'm off to the food bank & then home to help clean the house. Oh joy!

My week has been busy but fun. Still volunteering at the summer school program, and this week is Vacation Bible School at our church, and I volunteered for that. That is 6-8pm every night, but I leave at 4:30 to get there for the free dinner at 5pm for the volunteers. 
And tonight is movie night here at the mobile home park, and I am a volunteer for that. So today will be the busiest day of the week for me. But I love it. Gives me something to do.

Happy Friday.
Had a great visit with my sister-in-law & her guy friend. I haven't seen her in 12 years but have been in contact. It's been 10 years since she & my brother divorced. She is such a wonderful lady. She & I always got along & she was an important part of my life over the years. She is the closest family I have today.
