Morning all. I hope you are having a great day.
First day of Summer break here for the minion and myself. She has made me proud again with straight A's. Cost me another $50 bounty but she worked hard and won.
She also got the Governor's award for perfect attendance all year, and the Principal's award for honor roll every Trimester.
Wow! Straight "A's", perfect attendance and the honor roll. I would be proud of her too. Looks like you need to buy some 8.5"x11" frames to hang all her awards on the wall. Tell the minion Congratulations from me.

Wow, and from me too.
What a cutie that minion. I am proud of her just by association. [I don't know if there is such a thing, but I'm claiming it anyway.]
I am such a lousy salesman. My 85 F150 4x4, reg cab, short bed, inline 300 six is still for sale. It has always been a reliable old truck. Very small turning radius. I looks kind of bushwhacked, but I'm not trying to sell it on it's looks.
I have advertised it for $1800 but still not getting calls. So if anyone knows anyone..... Thanks
I am a lousy salesman too, which is why the car flipping business lost me money instead of making me money. Of course, buying the wrong cars did not help. I am surprised you are not getting any calls. But then again, I was told my Bronco was worth $3,500 but I couldn't get any calls until I lowered the price to $2,000. So maybe the 4x4 market has taken a dump lately and nobody told me.
Good Afternoon Nevada.
Congrats to your daughter Greg.
Bruce, The market is funny. If it looks rough on the outside people assume it is that way through out. People are short of cash. The places that sell vehicles are the "tote the note" dealers. They are cleaning up. Reno has a used car lot that does that every block.
The 80s Ford truck market is a nitch market. I found that out when I got rid of my 86 F250 4x4. I had to give it away to get rid of it fairly quickly. It went for $800.

Bruce,
Have you looked it up on???...Wow, brain fart! You know...that price thingy!
If you want, send me pictures, along with ALL the details (extras, etc.) about the truck & I'll see if I can't help you become a better salesman. (I used to work at Auto Warehouse in Dayton before they went out of business.
Happy Friday! I hope you've enjoyed your day.
Greg - Tell her Congratulations from us! I'm proud of her! Hey, wanna trade kids for the summer? LOL Kaedon for her?
It's been crazy here today! Kaedon was at the 4H leaders house working with the horses, then Karl & I started baking for the 4H bake sale/rummage sale tomorrow & then I get a emergency call & drop everything top pickup/ drop off Karl & Kaedon at Cammys house to watch Athena while I took Cammy to Carson Tahoe Hospital for kidney stones. Once Nathan(my SIL) showed up, I went back to Stagecoach, picked up Karl, Kaedon & Athena & came home to continue baking & getting things ready for tomorrow. Then Athena gets sick & doesn't feel good & doesn't want to do anything except whine & be carried. We tried to get her to take a nap...forget it! I hate to say it, but I was so glad when Nathan & Cammy got back from the hospital!
I was at my wits end!
So, that's how my day has gone. Oh...BTW Cammy apparently passed the kidney stone while she was at E.R. & is sore, but doing better.
Spring Street Vibrations starts tomorrow too! Anyone going?

I don't get it Donna.
I'll get one the picture thingy and take you up on your offer. Cause the few calls I have had were scammers. I am at least smart enough to avoid them. Not smart enough to sell a damned truck though.
Maybe you have missed your calling as an auto sales consultant.
The problem is fuel prices. The market is flooded with gas guzzling trucks and people have their pick. If a truck has any issues, buyers tend to walk on by to another one in better condition for the same or slightly more money. My old 74 highboy will probably be buried with me.
Hi Tim, good point.
My trouble is I have to get rid of it. I will be willing to come down a little as necessary
but as you know, you can always come down from your price.
Afternoon Nevada.
I'm trying to sell a Honda Civic & not having great luck there either. I don't understand it the economy is in good recovery. There should be plenty of money out there. The stock market is about to go over 17,000.
