Pool set up? I'm jealous, hope to get mine up this weekend. Haven't been around much cause I got a new puppy! And have been playing with her lots, she's so adorable who wouldn't?
Evening Everyone.
Michelle, real cute pup.
Donna, pool set up? I been swimming since Feb. The heaters got shut off end of April & the pool is a nice 90 degrees.
Bruce, it looks like a healer to me, So they don't get too big. They are great for working cattle & sheep. They are a herding dog including kids & people. Great working dogs.
Bruce how are you feeling & doing? Old age isn't for the weak that is for sure. I turn 64 in July & I sometime wonder what the future hold for me. With my knees, back, & shoulder. As the old saying goes if I knew I was going to live this long I might of done a few things different.
Well Craig, we certainly have a few things in common besides Ford trucks and our admiration of our chapter leader. Bad knee, bad back, [starting physical therapy for my back soon.] bad shoulders, diabetes, mild insanity etc. Can't forget migraines! But then I will be 70 in mid July. Not that far off. I'm thinking of a nice Crown Vics or the Merc counterpart. Like yours. Comfort becomes more important as time flies by.

Yea, I think mine is more than mild insanity. LOL
We love our Crown Vic. I drove it to Hawthorne last month & it was a real easy drive compared to driving that little Honda. They just run & run. We got this one in an auction for $400. It is a 99 P71, we put about $1200-$1400 in it. It had 130,000 miles. In the Grand Marque you get dual exhausts which gives you a small HP upgrade. After 05 you had three valves I believe. I don't know how the civilian CV vs the P71 Police compare. The big difference is the electrical is heavy duty, the transmissions are upgraded, & the suspension is stiffer with body stiffener to control roll, big comfortable cop bucket seats. Then if someone hasn't removed the police computer that is the performance difference. Faster idle, different shift points, top end of 129-135 mph. We get 15-16 in town & 18-23 on the road. If I run 65-70 mph 22-23 easy. My buddy has an 01 & gets up to 24 mpg
I have to say our Crown Vic is probably the best car I have ever owned. I haven't owned a bunch of cars but I have owned my share. Trucks have always been my choice.
