Shaking Steering Wheel

Just like the title says. I am trying to track down a shaking steering wheel (35mph and above). First off The tires were balanced about a month ago. Usually when I get them balanced it will shake but eventually go away. It has not gone away this time. I'm thinking bad balance job? Ball joints are good. Just put on a new steering stabilizer before winter. What else could it be

What are your thoughts?

I would blame the tires and have the balanced again and again until they get it right.

maybe try putting the front tires on back and vice versa.....see if it goes away or gets worse, may at least tell if its tire or mechanical.

X2.... If the vibration goes from steering wheel to seat than your problem is tires/wheels.
