Gaskets
Brand recommendations for valve cover and intake. Cork or rubber?Seeping alitte oil and it just bothers me. Something on the front does a little more than seep. Comes from the front top of the motor and collects a thimblefull right behind the fan in a little valley.302 FYI. thanks fellas

A good quality cork valve cover gasket seems best to me, but that's partly due to the fact that they (valve covers) can be removed and gaskets reused. Maybe the rubber ones too, never used those. Y blocks have solid lifters and the valve lash needs adjusting now and then, so that is a factor.
I guess if they was gonna be on there more or less permanently it'd be different, and use whatever for gaskets and plenty of RTV, seal em up good and forget about it.
