No start, won't crank. Seized engine?

Hi, so I'm new to this site and this is my first post so please helps out. The other other day I got an 85 bronco from my older brother(it has been in the family for about 25 years) the truck has been sitting for about five years but when I went to pick her up, she fired up fine. The heater core inside the truck was leaking really bad so I bypassed it by looping the line around. I lost a little bit of coolant but didn't top it up because I didn't have very far to go. I watched closely and it looked like my temp was normal. I got where i was going and shut it off, whe. I came back out ten minutes later, she wouldn't fire back up. I could hear the starter solenoid so I assumed the starter was bad. Replaced the starter. Nothing. I noticed that the solenoid was a little bit melted. Replaced. Nothing. All my fuses and fusible links are good. Is it possible the I over heated and didn't notice and my engine seized up?
Thanks in advance

Put a wrench on the pulley bolt and try turning the engine.

If you got it hot enough to seize the engine you would have to be deaf blind a dumb not to notice. Sounds like bad electrical connections to me with what you described.

Any idea off the top of your head what size the bolt on the crank pulley is?

I also forgot to mention, I checked the oil before we fired it up the first time and it was dark, but looked pretty clean. After my no-start, checked it again and the dipstick had carbon baked onto it. I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not, but it's worth a mention.

You will need a long socket and extension. I think it is 15/16".

I would start by taking all the starting circuit cables off. Clean all connections for ground cable. Also clean chasis ground. Cables are relatively cheap and if they are old they are either bad or will go bad before long. Replace them and you wont have that to worry about them for a while. I would be willing to bet a nickle () this will solve the problem.
