A slight but very noticable shake is the best way I can describe what's going on with my engine when I get on the gas from idle up to about 20-30 mins after I start her up.
It happened after I changed the oil about 5- 6 days ago. Up till then there was not a single issue. Oil filter is Motorcraft. Correct oil cap. Delo 5w-40 syn oil. There was nothing wrong with the oil or quantity that came out.
Fuel pressure is 65psi. Filters are good. 311,600 miles. Dieselsite Billet HPOP with about 25,000+ miles. No codes. Engine values from autoenginuity are below.
Can this be a stiction issue? Injectors are all original.
Edit - also forgot to mention that power just isn't there at those times when it feels like it's 'missing', and the boost numbers are low, in the single digits or low teens even if I'm on the gas going up a low slope hill.
Once about 1/2 hr has passed and it's been driving for a while everything is fine again and she has no problem driving, accelerating, high speeds, high rpms.
Also did the injector buzz test and AE said it passed. Did a power balance test and got a flat line, but I've been reading that might not show the whole story the way Ford IDS does (?).
With AE when the RPM's go up, the line disappears off the AE scale so I can't see what it's doing when I push down on the accelerator, which is when the shaking starts to happen.
Anything else I can do with AE that might help me diagnose this?
You can Only do a Cylinder Balance test at Idle with AE??
And do all of you that Use AE have this Issue??or is there a way to overcome this.
As far as I know that's correct. Give the truck some rpm's and you can't see the trace anymore. But I'm no expert with AE by any means. I'm gonna keep playing with it and if I find anything I'll pass it on. Likewise, if anyone knows if the scale of the trace can be expanded please let us know. Thanks.
