Crew Cab is the way to go. I've got an F350 CC with 8' bed. Yeah it's a bugger to park sometimes but I never regret the amount of room I've got - both passenger and cargo. In a short period of time you get used to the length and it's never really an issue.
It would be nice if the darn thing fit in my garage but that's my fault from when I built the house not the truck's...
As most everybody has said: Go for the Crew Cab! Once you have had one you can't stand the S'cab. I had a F250 C/C short bed and it wasn't too bad to get used to. Same length as S'cab w/long bed. I have 3 grandsons, so I know about the "baby" seats! Good Luck!
I have the extended cab and love it but it is just me and the wife in there. If we still had kids at home I would go with the crew cab. Have fun with your twins. I have a twin brother. Been my best friend for 50 years.
I have an f350 crew 8ft bed. It is hard to park sometimes. I parked it in a hotel parking garage one time. It was not fun. When I go to he store I just park out on the edge of the lot. Driving it is ok once you gt used to it. U turns are the hardest to get used to. I usually just do a three point turn. It does not fit in a regular parking space. I have four children. I can fit the whole family with comfort in my truck. You having two car seats I would get the crew. There is much more room and it is easier to get the children in and out of the car seats. Good Luck
