2010 F250, 145K miles. Had it for about a month and a half. Noticed that the AC was acting like a low refrigerant charge, ice cold air for a few seconds followed by gradually warmer and then back to ice cold. In other vehicles I have had, this was always low refrigerant. Picked up a can of R-134, went to put it in and noticed that my gauge said it was just slightly into the "yellow" zone at about 47 PSI. So I didn't put any 134 in.
Is it possible that the system is overcharged and is acting like its low on refrigerant?
The compressor is always engaged while the AC is on, at least while I have watched it.
