Steering Gearbox questions
59 f100 4x4 factory grimmer box. Was leaking, disassembled, cleaned out, and new Pittman arm seal. When reassembling what do you pack bearings with, and what fluid to fill gearbox with?

Some say 90 wt gear oil. Others stand by a thicker oil - STP oil treatment is the stuff, they say.
Still others swear by picker head or corn head grease. It's a self-leveling grease, goopy and won't leak out. Any tractor/farm supply place will have it.
