74 FE engine
I'm slowly, very slowly, putting a 1962 F100 together. It has a 1974 FE engine. Is there a way I can tell which size it is short of measuring the bore and stroke?
PS. I'm also looking for a right hand front fender for it just in case anyone has one for sale.

'74 FE is either a 360 or 390. Identical externally, crank, rods and pistons would be different. Measure the stroke through a plug hole with a wire.
3.5" = 360
3.78" = 390
This 40 year old FE, you going to go through it? If so, put a stroker in it for 445 cubes and wake it up a little.
'74 pickup motors are low compression engines with modest power.
