Bronco wing window replacement

Due to a break-in that bent the wing window frame on my '92 XLT, I had to get a new assembly from Ford. Since my Chilton's is missing, and it never seems to tell me what I need to know anyway, I'm wondering what the best way is to get the old wing window out and the new one in. It's the whole assembly, not just the glass. It looks like the door panel and the weatherstrip are gonna have to come off, if I remember right. (It's not parked here at the moment) It's the right (passenger) side, if that matters.
Any helpful tips out there? I'd like to minimize the damage to the door seal (weatherstrip) if possible.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I just remembered the power lock on that side doesn't always unlock all the way. It works properly about half the time. The **** pops up about 2/3 of the way, and then I gotta reef on the inside handle to open the door. It's done this ever since I've owned it (since '97) and since I'll probably have the door panel off to replace the wing window, I might as well look into it.
Anybody else have this annoying problem?

I recommend the Haynes manual (~$12 at most parts stores) &/or the Ford/Helm service CD (~$10 delivered off eBay). In the meantime, use the online Chilton's.

You do have to pull the door panel, the 8mm (5/16")-headed bolt below the divider, and the 2-3 screws on the angled front edge of the door to remove the vent window frame, but it's pretty easy. The hardest part will be getting the glass run back in the frame properly.

Spray some silicone lubricant on the rubber grommet that the lock button passes thru, and make sure the door panel is aligned & fully hooked over the top of the door.

Thanx. I gotta agree that the Haynes manuals are better. I got one for my girlfriend's Camry, and it's much more "real" than a Motor or Chilton's.

You mentioned running the glass back into the frame. I have the whole assembly, frame, glass and all, new from Ford. I don't have to take it apart for some insane reason, do I?

I meant the door glass - the main window. And the "glass run" is the felt that lines the groove that the glass moves in.
